I'm in my element!
With one year left to complete my BSc. in International Relations, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to serve as a mentor at the Rotary Clubs of Barbados' annual Model United Nations (MUN). Interestingly enough, I'm taking courses in International Negotiation and Diplomacy as well as International Environmental Politics this semester, so I'm learning by mentoring, which is a win-win situation! It was a pleasure to meet some truly inspirational facilitators and young delegates today, and I am eagerly anticipating the proceedings in the coming weeks in which we confront environmental issues related to climate change.

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the Opening of Model United Nations 2023. With the commencement of the first training session, the initial confidence and eager participation of the students made for a promising start to the program. As a mentor, I look forward to providing support to the delegates on their individual and collective journeys over the course of the next seven weeks.
