Kim Harris from the Juvenile Liaison Scheme of the Barbados Police Force has a big heart and works tirelessly to divert troubled youth from pursuing a life of crime. Awarded for her humanitarian spirit towards her selfless mentoring, encouraging and empowering our nation's youth. 

 

 

 

 

 

Shamelle Rice in 2012, founded Jabez House, a registered charity that serves as a haven of hope for female sex workers facilitating their transition process via access to alternative economic empowerment opportunities including health care. To date, the program has helped over 500 sex workers make this transition. Awarded for her humanitarian spirit towards her selfless mentorship, encouragement and empowerment of women.
