The Rotary Club of Barbados South celebrated International Literacy Day 2026 with the presentation of little libraries to primary schools under its Little Libraries for Childhood Literacy project.
In Rotary, September is Basic Education and Literacy Month, which highlights one of Rotary International's core areas of focus and as such the project is designed not only to provide access to books, but also to build sustainable literacy practices through skill and knowledge transfer.
