Education
Rotary supports education for all children and literacy for children and adults. Their goal is to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy.
The Rotary Club of Barbados South (RCBS) has embraced their support of education in a variety of ways. Club projects include reading projects, the exposure and integration of workshops with real-life business and multi-national issues for the application of knowledge and skills; the provision of school uniforms and supplies, tablets, laptops; and infrastructural improvements of classrooms and a library.
