The Rotary Club of Barbados South was Chartered 13 January 1986. It is the third and the youngest of the Rotary Clubs in Barbados.  Its first President was the late Peter Hollands. 37th Charter - 2023
 
The club celebrated its 37th anniversary Charter Night and 2023 Vocational Service Awards Ceremony on January 28, 2023, at the Hotel PomMarine, Hastings Christ Church, at 6:30 in the evening. The featured guest speaker, Paula Walcott, VP, Human Resources (North), Sagicor Life Inc. spoke on the topic "Transforming the workplace, managing the change" and encouraged us to grow from being good to being great. Entertainment came in the form of an 8-man band (Chillax) with an apt playlist that soothed the souls of the attendees and took some of us down memory lanes. Emcee for the evening was PP Stephen Broomes.
 
As part of the 37th Anniversary, 2 members were acknowledged for their 15 years of service and commitment to the club, Rtn. Keith King and PP Hiranand Thani.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The President's Award of Excellence was presented to Kemar Saffrey, in recognition of his stellar service, passion and commitment towards the eradication of homelessness, and to Rosanne Trotman, for her hard work and dedication to Rotary International. 
 
 
 
 
36th Charter - 2022
The club celebrated its 36th Charter Night combined with the 2022 Vocational Service Awards Ceremony on January 27, 2022, as a virtual event.  The featured guest speaker was RI Director Peter Kyle.
 
As part of the 36th Anniversary, 34 members were acknowledged for their years of service and commitment to the club for periods ranging from 5 years to 35 years. The President's Award of Excellence was presented to 5 members who through their service have made us a better club and the world a better place.
