Community Service
For most Rotarians, Community Service is the essence of Rotary.
"Community Service defines Rotary's character, is the basis for its appeal and visibility in the community and is the reason Rotary continues to grow" (rotary7080.org).
Rotarians are encouraged to offer service to their communities while they seek to "improve the quality of life for those in their communities and to serve the public interest". Expressed in a more familiar and commonly used term "to give back".
The Rotary Club of Barbados South remains true to this purpose.
