"The outpouring of love and support from Barbadians, even during a difficult time, really made our inaugural execution of the promotion successful," says Dana Rock, Category Manager of Banks (Barbados) Breweries Limited. "So we decided to partner with The Rotary Club of Barbados South (RCOBS) again since there is still a massive need in our community, especially as we are still feeling the effects of the pandemic."
The Dairy and RCOBS have once again set a goal of $10,000 for this initiative, and will work with The Child Care Board to provide money to various households for school fees, uniforms, books and other educational expenses.
Terry Hall of the RCOBS was pleased with the return of the 'Give Back Twin Packs', saying "We were so happy to see the displays across Barbados filling up with stickers last time around, because we knew how much each spot would mean to each family. We are grateful that Pinehill has decided to run this campaign again."
The mechanics of the promotion will be the same: persons just need to purchase a 2% Reduced Fat or Whole milk twin pack that contains a special necker tag featuring a sticker of a cow's spot. Then, remove the sticker and place that spot on any displays of the dairy's Calfie mascot at participating supermarkets.
Ms. Rock says there will be additions to the campaign this year, including special discounts on the twin packs, online back-to-school giveaways through Pinehill Dairy social media, and the launch of a new educational website.
"Nourishing the minds of our youth is just as important as nourishing their bodies, that is why education is very important to us," she says. "So we want everyone to grab your Pinehill dairy twin pack again and let's give back together!"
